Great local spot... full service that doesn't make a guy feel out of place. Very authentic French Crepes. Modest, and homey surroundings. Wonderful staff. Not too big... not to small. Plenty of great cars, 'door prizes' and a 50/50 draw!! Every Tuesday night... come in off of Rebecca Street by The Beer Store. r&r books Hopedale Mall, 1515 Rebecca St., Oakville New and used books at great prices. Proprietors Rob and Russ truly know their books and are eager and willing to help. If they don't have it... they can get it! there are a lot of good Roti places... but the combination of rich, savoury and genuine homemade flavour gives Island Foods the nod. And the twins at the Queen & Dufferin location are a hoot! (The trick is to figure out what will make them laugh!) great food, great prices, quick service. The business model for The Beat Goes on is simply brilliant. Several stores with their inventory online where you can search, buy, add to a wish list, and get delivered either to your door or to the BGO near you. When you add some seriously knowledgeable people (like manager Laura in the Oakville location) then you've got a great shopping experience. o sushi 2330 Lakeshore Road W, oakville Superb sushi prepared by 'Jackie' one time apprentice to Sushi Master Aoki Lu (Lily Sushi). Sushi can be pretentious, it can be overpriced, it can be all glitz and no substance... O Sushi is none of those! Best tequila selection in the city! Wonderful laid back atmosphere - not crowded.
