The Door Store reclaims all these pieces from old homes, churches, movie theatres,schools from all over the world. It's a tickle trunk of architectural pieces.

Tiles Plus is my fave place to get tiles plus so much more. They have wide variety of imported tiles from Spain.Faucets,bath tubs, Toto toilets which have heated seats! Current,chic and very unique. One of my new loves is the large 17.5" x 35" coloured glass tiles that is very European and looks so fantastic on walls.Also huge right now is tile with large prints.This creates a stunning mosaic but not the chessy kind with tiny little individual tiles.Big prints,big tiles,big YES!

Dwell Studio is a bedding company that makes amazing, wonderful, bright, clean, prints for childern and adults.They are located in NY NY but can be purchased at Nestings here in Toronto. The print that made me take notice of this company is this beautiful white duvet cover with branches and birds.If you're planning on decorating a baby or kids bedroom besides bedding they also carry finger puppets,hand puppets ,plush toys and soft blocks.

Forget street meat on Queen and Spadina. This place offers you a dog with sweet pepper jelly and Brie.OR, How about hot mozzarella with Indian butter. Crazy! Everything they serve is made locally. Dogs are 100 % beef made in Wellington ON Buns- Picton ON Cheese , Old Cheddar,Pepperjack,Hot Mozzarella, and Brie ( which is only served Fridays)- Milford ON 11Unique Sauces - Toronto They also serve soups,chilis,salads and "Nellers" which is a veggie friendly grilled cheese sandwiches.

Queen's Pasta Cafe' is located at 2263 Bloor Street in Bloor West Village.Whenever I get a craving for pasta this is the place to go. My top 3 dishes in no particular order are: 1.Green and White Angel Hair Served with smoked salmon, tossed in a fresh herb vodka cream, with roma tomatoes.$14.95 2.Black and White Fettuccini Served with grilled tiger shrimp, black olives, fresh tomatoes, garlic, tossed in olive oil and asiago cheese.$17.95 3.Penne Carbonara with fresh bacon $11.95

Looking for the best condensed location of fresh cut flowers and variety? Hit the South / West corner of Avenue and Davenport. Prices are fantastic and you'll be there forever trying to choose what to buy. My fav along that strip is Growers Flower Market and Gifts but if they're ever out of what I need I hit one of the other 5 floral shops that are right beside it. Make sure to stop and smell the roses where Ave meets Dav.
