Right at the corner of Broadview & Danforth, this is old-school perfection. Fantastic, cheap & basic. No frills here but the portions are huge and the prices can't be beat. Great all-day breakfast and fantastic pizza-for-one or pizza-for-two. Love it.
Even though its a huge space right in the middle of "Downtown" North York & fronting onto Yonge St, it feels very private and quiet. There are a couple of levels with lots of trees and benches that give it a relaxing and personal feel. Also, on Thursdays throughout the summer there's a farmer's market. Love those fresh fruits & veggies!
Stout Drunken Burger is the best damn burger in town! Here's the description from the menu: "brushed with our famous stout drunken BBQ sauce and topped with sautéed mushrooms, jack cheese and BBQ peameal bacon." Could you ask for anything more?
Its a fresh take on life in Toronto focusing on one topic each issue.
Progressive, political and Canadian. This Magazine has been around for 40 years and continues to provide insightful, meaningful and independant coverage of the events that shape our country. This Mag's investigative journalism and commitment to the arts is only the beginning of what makes it such a fantastic read.
Cozy spot beside Woodbine Subway station. Great tapas.
The best bread, spread & toppings in town! Absolutely the best sandwiches I've ever had. Comes with a salad, all for only $7!
Our favourite Greektown Restaurant. Great food & good service. Reasonably priced. The melitzanosalata dip is fantastic! So is the veal dinner and the mousaka.
