KnightBlade's fave Farm and Petting Zoo is at Riverdale Farm because A nice little farm which is open to visitors to walk around and look at the farm animals. The usual suspects can be found: pigs, chickens, horses, cows, goats, sheep and a donkey. It's great for kids and you can also go on a nice nature walk next a bog of all things.

KnightBlade's fave Alternative Energy Structure is at Wind Turbine because It's a giant 30-storey white wind turbine (property of Toronto Hydro Energy Services & Windshare) right on the lakeshore. Where else would you see that in a major city? It supplies enough energy to support 250 homes for a year. These turbines should be all over Canada.

KnightBlade's fave Restaurant Near Rogers Centre is at East Side Mario's because Great for pre/post Rogers Centre events. The food is good and filling. The customer service is always courteous. Most importantly for out-of-towners, it's close to the Rogers Centre.

The beaches, the parks, the rocks and of course Lake Ontario itself - all makes it a beautiful place. The water is so fresh that you can easily take a gulp or two to rejuvenate your spirit. Okay, not really, but swimming in it won't kill you.

KnightBlade's fave Indie Cinema is at Bloor Cinema because It shows good quality moves, movies that have been in film festivals, classics and also recent box office hits. It's a cozy single screen theatre. The price is great and popcorn doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

Inevitabley, you will find books you couldn't find anywhere else, for that price, in that edition and in that condition and you have a real fear that it won't be there the next time you come back.
