The trail begins near Stinson St./ Victoria Ave. I like the bike trail because it is mostly shaded by trees , which makes it cooler even at noon. While on the trail, there are a couple of open areas that gives you an opprtunity to enjoy a view of hamilton from the mountain. Towards the end of the trail you'll need to cross a road and that trail will take you right to Albion Falls. This waterfall is absolutely beautiful!! It's a comfortable ride, only 1 hill, you could also walk/run it too. It's mainly in the sun so be prepared!!! Usually bug free ride, i find they usually come out when it gets dark...then WATCH OUT! I love it! The best pizza I have ever tried! My fav dipping sauce is the creamy garlic. It's better than sex. lol. I grew up in the neighbourhood. I loved skating in the winter and swimming in the summer. There's also a mini zoo , playground, trolley rides, pond, walking trails and breathtaking view of the sunset . Free parking too! It's also close to Bloor village , Roncevalles ( the village east of high park) and Lakeshore's bike path. From Toronto: Take Highway 6 North to Highway 5 West. Turn south (left) onto Brock Road. Turn east (left) onto Harvest Road. Turn right onto Short Road and left onto Fallsview Road and follow the signs for the parking lot. For Dundas Peak and Tews Falls lookout parking, follow Harvest Road further down until you see the signs,
It's a great place to have a picnic, go hiking and don't forget to bring your camera! Beautiful park i could describe it as something from a fairytale.Worth the drive! The first band that i saw perform here was a tribute band for Kiss in full makeup. I loved it! I love it that it isn't overly crowded. It's a place that you could hang out with friends and not worry about a dresscode. With the gas prices ...I love the fact that there isn't a cover to see a live band. I just wish that they would have better lighting for the stage and alittle darker in the audience area.By the way, I think there are about 50 pool tables in there too. I love the decor. A cute place . The downfall for this restaurant were the tiny bathroom stalls and the limited desserts. It's worth a look though if you are looking for something different from the Mandarine.
P.S. I prefer italian food .
