Great food, friendly and prompt service, decent prices. Tasty tempura (light and cripsy) and teriyaki (doesn't overload on the sauce), a respite from the terrible renditions in a lot of cheap sushi places. Do try the delicious namesake. A lot of their stuff is not my style, but great place nonetheless to pick up cheap tops, t-shirts, and basics like tights. Best for cheap basics. I like their underwear too ... fits me much better than anything I've ever gotten at La Senza, and new styles are constantly coming in. Every girl loves having a pretty bra! Some people think Winners is too much like a thrift store, full of items of odd sizes; an hour or two of rummaging is required, but honestly, that's half the fun. It's worth it when you come up with a pair of jeans for less than half of retail, or a unique blouse that looks like it came from Queen W, but at a fraction of boutique prices.
I like the College location the best, but avoid between 12-2PM ... the lunch crowd is crushing! Tasty dim sum downtown. Great atmosphere, the nicest cart ladies in town. Stunning, creamy, smooth gelato. About twenty flavours or so, all rich and intense. Blows all other places I've tried -- La Paloma, Solferino, Dolce Gelato, Sicilian Ice Cream Cafe, Ed's Real Scoop -- out of the water. Their rendition of bacio gelato seems off, but their chocolate is insane. Tanzanian dark chocolate gelato. That's all you need to know. Showing Results 1-9 of 9 1
