Bunch's fave Halloween Experience is at Night of Dread because It begins with a fantastical masked community parade though the Dufferin/Bloor/College Street neighbourhood. The parade leads to Dufferin Grove Park where there is a massive spectacle, a bonfire and dancing (to fiddle music with costumed ghosts). This event is too crazy and beautiful to describe. Go!

Smith Collections of Children's Books. Show your kids the equisite 19th C. pop-up books and lavishly illustrated fairy tales. There is always a special exhibit on display here. Right now it's children's books and art about flying. In June it's pirates and mermaids, followed by dragons in July.

This is a family run store at King and Bathurst and shopping there is a real feel-good experience. The owners and staff love the store and every toy in it and will spend a ton of time helping you pick stuff. No Muggles allowed.

For these little girls, a family picnic with bride watching is just the thing. The gardens on the U. of T campus near Hart House are a beautiful spot and have the added bonus of providing onlookers with a parade of princess brides to admire. HIgh Park and Edwards Gardens will also do the trick.
