I haven't tried one yet - I haven't been in that 'hood lately. But I will remember to ask for the works when I go. I have the feeling I'll be outside of my usual territory more once the weather gets better. : )

There is a passion about hockey in Toronto. The Maple Leafs are awesome and I love the excitement surrounding a game. Especially a winning game. But win or lose, the spirit behind the Maple Leafs is what it's all about.

I love a bargain and finding something out of the past. Kensington Market is the place for this and great food too. Awesome empanadas, the ultimate coffee, baked goods, fresh fruits/veggies, and more. Kensington is a little pocket of paradise if you're in the mood for funk! I love it there.

If you like sliced barbecued pork and you've never tasted it at the Congee Queen, you're in for a treat. This is llike a different product than you can get anywhere on the planet. It's succulent, juicy, tender, and full of flavor.

There are fabulous shopes and nik nak stores. I love hunting there for antiques. There are also a couple of bakeries that have some of the best cookies you can find in the GTA other than what I make in my own kitchen, of course!

I enjoy the hustle bustle on a crowded day at the market. It's an atmosphere I love. Not to mention those veal sandwiches (downstairs) are absolutely the best I've ever had.
