BarbaraR's fave Cabbage Borscht is at Pickle Barrel Restaurant & Catering because It's yummy and reminds me of a soup my grandma used to make. I do wish, however, they'd make it with a sugar substitute because I can taste the sugar in it and I'm trying to aviod sugar these days.

BarbaraR's fave Steak is at Ruth's Chris Steak House because Hands down the best steak I've ever eaten. Did you know 2 people can share a steak, share a salad, share a side, and share a desert. The portions are huge and one meal IS enough for 2. This also makes it much more affordable.

BarbaraR's fave Neighborhood restaurant is at The Homeway Soda Bar because Their menu is small but there are specials everyday. This space was redone by one of the designers of Restaurant Makeover and it's clean, classy, and really comfortable. The food is fantastic and the prices very reasonable. They have a special potato au gratin you have to try.

BarbaraR's fave Brand New Costco Warehouse is at Richmond Hill Location because It's fresh and clean. More importantly they carry a larger variety of electronics than the other warehouses. Their optical deptartment is also quite extensive. You'll love it.

BarbaraR's fave Papadum is at Saffron Tree because These are great and the price of the buffet is very reasonable. $12.95 per per all you can eat. It's a complete buffet including some fantastic deserts. It's a very affordable and pleasurable meal. Give it a shot.

BarbaraR's fave Outdoor Skating Rink is at Nathan Phillips Square because I love skating outdoors in the cold. It's such a different experience than an indoor rink. I've done the same in Quebec City. I love it! It's great fun, great exercise, and a wonderful outing. Try it. You'll love it.

They have some very unusual pieces but I think the best thing about this company is their committment to quality customer service. The stand behind what they sell. They're quick to come out when you have issues and they work with you until you're satisfied.

BarbaraR's fave bread is at Marche because Their multigrain rye is the best I've ever had. If you go just before closing they sell off the days bread at 1/2 off. AND they punch a frequent buyer card for you so for every 5 loaves you buy you get one free. Can you beat that? Even if you could beat the bargain, you can't beat the great flavor of this hearty bread.

BarbaraR's fave Mall is at Bayview Village Shopping Centre because It's clean and classy. You can shop for everything there including groceries. Have lunch, while you're at it at any of the great little restaurants all clustered on the Loblaw side of the center. They've got everything including interesting gift shops when you don't know what to get the person who has everything. Check it out.
