We have a lot in common!

I never got to thank you for the message, so now you're officially the recipient of my first compliment! The sentiment is likewise, you have a very awesome collection of faves that I've gotta try out. :)

: ) I figured I was missing something. Sugar, the cafe, was good (amazing bread pudding!) but not so good that seeing the proprietor out someplace would translate to celebrity endorsement. If I only had cable, I would know this. The Food Network is like crack to me. Better I don't have regular access.

Re: Fave bistro brunch at Le Select Bistro

Mmmmm. Sounds great. Sugar the cafe? Didn't that place close down? Or are we talking another Sugar?

Yup, it is the place in York Lanes...looks totally ghetto but they do a great job. $24 for a haircut, and they usually blow it out for me for free. :)

The soy-n-joy soy ice cream place is pretty cool...so far, I've tried the lychee flavour and strawberry flavour. Know any other good flavours?

Hi there, thanks for the kind words. I'm also a jewellery junkie, in fact that's why I started making my own stuff about 9 years ago. I have a bunch of shows coming up for xmas starting around mid November. You're welcome to drop by one of them and say hi if you like craft shows. The public shows should be listed in the 'where to buy' section of my website. www.nicolekagandesign.com I'll have to check out your faves when I get a chance! Take care, -N

Hey Adrienne! I am definitely going to look into that Yoga centre on Harbord. I don't own any Lulu pants and I would love to find a CASUAL yoga centre! I'm a total beginner so these trendy annex places just aren't for me. Thanks for the tip!

Re: Fave hidden hangout at Sweaty Betty's

i love sweaty betty's too. it's my fave for "vintage tattoo photos", but really, it's all about that back room, in total.

I keep hearing good things about this Sweaty Betty's...I must check it out sometime soon.

There's nothing like saravanaa's, is there? I haven't heard of Chennai Chef before, I'm gonna go there when I get the chance... thanks for the tip!

I have always heard good things about McGill. So you did your LLB, or a masters of law at York? Are you working as a lawyer? I'm a Law and Society major at York, graduating in the spring, and applying to J-school at Ryerson next year. It's a VERY competitive program so we'll see how that goes...haha.

hiya! not sure if you've noticed the campus pages we launched a couple weeks ago, but would be great to see you (and any alumni friends) there, if you're into that kind of association. : ) join the neighbourhood!

Yeah I'm not quite sure what the issue is. I tried adding the address multiple times it always seemed to work but never kept the changes in the in end. Weird. Great blog by the way.
