they have more options than any other pizza joint around. You can get boccocini & asiago cheese, organic, lactose-free & soy cheese, as well as spelt, gluten-free & wholewheat crust options - and in a city full of picky eaters, this is a good thing!

They don't have a showroom but check out their website -- beautiful arrangements using only organically grown and fair trade flowers....something to keep in mind next time you want to 'say it with flowers'

It has everything you need in every colour you like - and the price is right.

I visited this joint in the summer for brunch because I had heard the cook worked in a few reputable kitchens in Toronto as a sous-chef. The food is delightful and the setup is interesting, the cook serves, cooks, and possibly cleans the petit eatery. As well, Rosa is a sweet woman and very friendly.

Everything else in the city just doesn't compare, and that's 17 bakeries later. Crisp, flakey exterior with a soft buttery inside that's all sweet, salt and richness. Fantastic Alsatian baker and nearly impossible to not eat their croque madame when dropping in.

Lovely little neighbourhood coffee place - friendly, always a smile with your coffee, great home-baked goods so the place always smells delicious (check out the scones!)

Excellent, award winning BBQ. Also, fantastic pizza from scratch. And great salad and some veggie choices for those non-meat eaters. Excellent restaurant for lunch and very family friendly!

sometimes you need something other than Starbucks or Timmy's.
