steak frites

the steak is cooked to perfection - and the staff don't scoff at you when you ask for ketchup - which by the way is a must for steak frites.. in case you were wondering.

It's just so good. It's perfect. And so is the atmosphere, the staff, the selection of wine. Lovely lovely lovely.

Chef Av must be some sort of magician because the steak frites here are amazingly addictive. I tell you...his steak frites are a definite gateway drug. sigh.

Sundried tomato butter is incredible. The frites and aioli complete the experience. Great patio to watch the buzz of Kensington market too.

best steak frites in the city - and they aren't even on the menu... ask special. Also of note: the mussels and crepes for dessert.

Out of this world! Really... so authentic and delicious. The fries are small and crispy. The steak they melt a tomato flavored butter on top of it - the french do the steak frites the best!

its topped with sun-dried tomato and brandy butter and served with fantastic double fried fries. Two words: Oh. Yeah.

It's a small chain which delivers better food than you expect and the frites are incredibly good - very thin, salty and nicely done. Perfect in the steak juices.
