They play quality films and sometimes are the only theatre in the city playing a certain film that is more obscure.
Cheap tickets, awesome new and classic movies, awesome theatre set-up
Rue Morgue Cinemacabres are the best part of the month! And the Bloor is the perfect venue for the creepy classics or frightening flicks!
This is the bestttttt theatre ever! WIth huge screens and all crystal, crystal clear... I used to swear by Silvercity Richmond and thought the new AMC was the new ENEMYYYY but after my first movie I was sold and will always go see my movies there from here on... unless the moving isn't playing there.. but WOWWWW digital imaging technology for all their screensss.. it's a beautiful thing.

Price, price, price!!!!!!!!!! Great bargain for students or anyone really!!!! Love the matinees!!!!!
It's tie between this, Mt. Pleasant Theatre and Bloor Cinema. I can’t get enough of the old-school movie theaters! I love the scale of the theatres, the seats, the admission booths, and the simplicity. A welcome break from the Disney-esque theatres of today.
They have VIP seating! Vey cool.....
There's nothing like putting the top down and watching a movie under the stars.
They recently played Casablanca on the big screen!!! brilliant.
Great prices.
Great old style movie house, it's mostly second run stuff, but it's not some giant corporation.
Great snack bar too
It's only $6 to see classic (and soon-to-be classic movies)! Plus the audio and sound quality is great and all their treats are reasonable priced (especially when you compare to Cineplex).
Wide selection of movies and snacks. Very cool location and decor, and the longest set of stairs ever.
I've seen some great movies here. I think that it's the perfect size for watching a documentary or foreign film. It has the feel of an independent cinema, and they play small and large-release films. The theatres spaces are small and intimate.
It's huge, features an Imax theatre, and I can walk to it in under 20 mins.
cheap snacks, good popcorn, cool staff, interesting movies, great popcorn, old-fashioned movie theatre atmosphere
Going to the movies is fun!
It has small tables, and extra room. AND they bring snacks to you. Plus it's on the subway line.
Really comfortable seats, not too loud, approachable film geeks at the counter, and people actually shut up during the movies. It's delightful.
It's local to me, and I love going to the movies!
Wide selection of movies, large theatres, lots to do in the area after the movie.
In the heart of mid-town, it has the perfect location to make your evening special.
It's the best place to see the stars come September
its so huge and love the escalater ;P
