They have in my opinion some of the best gelato in the city. They seem to have new flavours all the time as well.
When I was a vegan, I found that people often mistakenly assumed I was a really healthy eater. But I always found many, many ways to satisfy my sweet tooth. Dolce Gelato serves several kinds of dairy-free gelatos (called sorbettos). They're great alternatives to soy ice cream and flavours include blueberry and green apple.
Found in the heart of Little Italy, Dolce Gelato has really good gelato for about $3 - $5. My friend and I went twice in the same night in a span of 4 hours. I would really have to recommend the limone gelato - it's awesome!
Smooth, rich, flavourful and delicious. So few places can get the texture and the true flavour out of nuts and fruits the way Il Gelaterie does tribute to them. All others will taste greasy and thin in comparison. They also do up fun flavour combinations.
Yummy gelato for a good stroll downtown on Front Street. The Ferrero Rocher gelato is quite good. The mango gelato is AMAZING. Tastes exactly like mango in a cup :)
Seriously the best gelato I've had in T.O. The mango and the passion fruit are tart as hell and two of my faves (TM).
All of the flavors I have tried, I have loved but for me if you drink coffee their espresso gelato is TO DIE FOR. I love love love it!! Also if you are on a date or something get a fresh made waffle topped with whatever flavor you want. excellent for sharing!
It's the most authentic tasting with lots of flavours to choose from. I usually end up getting a double scoop of oreo and mochaccino. There is also a park directly across the street which offers the perfect place to enjoy your sweet treat.
They have gelato year round. They add more flavours in the summer.
