Sweet little place with free wireless but more importantly, divine coffee and banana hot-chocolate in the cold months. Just east of Dufferin on College (don't blink, might miss it on south side). Cool owner, great music, minimalist/shabby chic decor, communal atmosphere. Might end up sharing a table. It's a perfect spot to go after hanging out with your urchins at Dufferin Grove or for an intimate meeting with a fellow arts group members. (After which you can wander just east to Marquee Video.)

the vibe is oh so sweet seventies/ikea/friendly/cool graphics/tight squeeze/fresh-baked and the coffee (espresso, for me) is fresh, free trade, dark, never burned, never bitter, always divine, and with a stupendously perfect crema. Plus they make their own yummy scones, killer pain au chocolate... and the line moves FAST but you can hang out in the window seats. My kids love it, too.

I have to say I have been converted... Manic is the best coffee I have had in awhile. I love Ella's and Le Gourmand but Manic is the apple of my eye right now. Kudos Manic, it is clear you take coffee very seriously.

it’s fair-trade, shade-grown, and organic.

It's a cute little coffee shopped tucked away in a side street off campus. Great snacks and the heart foam swirled ontop of a latte can be enough to make your day, until you drink it of course.

the most delicious coffee i've ever had in this city. doubly enjoyable because it's fair trade and organic. they also carry a wide range of loose tea. the actual space is tiny but adorable, with a shabby-chic decor, free wireless, and a huge window overlooking college street. a real hipster coffee bar.

You can buy the most amazing, fragrant, grind-it-yourself traditional, flavoured, and free trade beans. My favourite is the chocolate raspberry :)

It really is. The coffee is the real deal, strong and hot like coffee should be. It's a perfect date spot, good music, great Kensington Market atmosphere. And they play and sell records. Awesome.

The most delicious, creamy lattes I've ever had. It's ruined me for coffee anywhere else. The chocolate biscotti and scones are also amazing! It's one of my very favourite places.

the coffee is obscene and the staff is obscene ... And if you can eat too, the eggs bennie on corn cakes is out of this world.

Consistently great espresso drinks from baristas who know there stuff. Seating outside is nice in the summer

They do a fine set of espresso drinks with pretty latte art but the Clover is where it's at. Certainly the best cup of coffee in the city, it's far from watery and has a rich depth of flavours that reveal itself slowly in varying tones as you sip to the bottom. No need for sugar here, the staff are sweet enough to keep you coming back.

I may not be a coffee connoisseur, but a large double double from Tim's is consistently good. In fact, it's one of my favourite beverages.

Americano for sure.... unless I'm making it, and then it's just so much easier to make a drip pot!
