a really cool experience. oldest bar in toronto, with a truly interesting history. the staff are friendly and skilled, the wings + beer are great.
its dark and bar-like and i just like it. :)
Three floors, a stage for live music, and conveniently located up the street from the mod club. I like this place for events or weekends out, and I LOVE the revival martini!
Cozy, intimate, great staff, excellent music!
This bar has LOADS of character, a great atmosphere and deliciously cheap eats. A great place to celebrate a birthday or just for casual weeknight drinks.
Cheap prices. Yummy food and lots of veggie options. Nice patio.
The entrance is hidden in a back alley and they have a great patio during the summer.
It's got what you want for a cool nite out, Live Music, Pool, Patio and Guinness.... ahem... a spontaneous dance floor
Great bartenders, CHEAP drinks, hole in the wall.
nice little twinkly bar up in the junction, awesome food, nice selection of microbrews on tap, fantastic people....it's a magical, kid friendly, patio-ed place.
Memories. And fooseball. (Same goes for Gabby's on Bloor.)
What can I say? The biggest selection of beer I've ever seen! A great nite scene, a decent restaurant food and the staff are always smiling. The music does get too loud for enjoyable conversation (I know I'm sounding old...), but the atmosphere somewhat makes up for it. For a snack, try the Wurst Sampler.
CHEAP, friendly servers, ecelectic atmosphere, pretty good food. they play good music too- the only time i ever heard american analog set in a public space!!
A great place to hang out after and good meal at the Factory, not too noisy and very comfortable, also has a wonderful summer patio if you can manage to get a table
Great music and good beer, great place to hang out in the summer months
Cozy hangout. Cheap drinks; specifically sangria and pitchers of beer.
Cheap drinks! Great food downstairs. Dance hall upstairs. Awesome place for drinks and dancing.
Awesome atmosphere. A sports bar, lots of local students, tons of TV's, pool tables, a dance floor. Bartenders are fast and welcoming.
The place is beautiful. I love the service.
Sitting on their plush sofas makes you honestly feel like a Moroccan princess.
$3.66 pints before 8:00, half-price appetizers from 3-7, and great sidewalk patio in the summer.

I've had some great conversations there, listened to deejays and live acts there, watched world cup soccer there, met a ton of strangers there, and they have modest but delicious selection of food and drink.
Great selection of Toronto Beer - this bar is part of a brewery. In the summertime is the best time to go, because you can sit on the patio and truly take in the Distillery District setting/Architecture.
As said, the organic beer is good (not many places serve it).
The food is pub food - their wings come in some cool sauces beside the usual mild/medium/hot/honey garlic choices, which was interesting to try.
A cool bar/lounge on the College Street Strip. My friend had his birthday here & it was great. The place is not too big & the music wasn't too loud, which created a good comfortable atmosphere for friends to chat and catch up. There was also a dance floor area. coolest thing about this place was there were big chalk board walls where u can write on the walls - the drunken birthday boy had the time of his life with this, creatin for some great memorable photos.
