it's enchanting. both entrances at College and Bloor Street have gorgeous iron gates and stone walls. it's like a mini-gated community in the city. most of the houses along the street were built in the early 1900s. a place i would like to live one day... One day.
East by the Beaches and West where all the clothing stores are
it has everything a gal could need, from great coffee, The Film Buff wonderland, polish treats and funky frocks to the best home-made olives in town.
It's the best street in the world! You've got a great mix of food and shopping, and you can just go to Dundas Square and watch all the shoppers and people (especially girls) walking on Yonge Street.
Lots of shops and excellent food to eat
Leslieville rocks....if you haven't travelled east in a few years you'd be shocked by this neighborhood's trendy restaurants, boutiques and furniture shops.
It's a one-way ticket across the city.
Essence of funk... trendy... whatever u like... most interesting and entertaining for shopping, eating and people watching... for a real treat go way west of bathurst
there are lots of great cafes, my fave CD shop (soundscapes), and is host to a really fun street festival in the summer.
Because when the highways are jammed, there's no better wat to get east-west
