it has been awesome since 1970's when they first opened. There is no better fos in the world. With such great ambiance and warmth, this is the real deal!!!!

This soup really does eat like a meal. I could live through the winter on just one of their large french onion soups. The taste is unlike anything I've had in my entire life. It's really an insult to this soup, that we call other french onion soups "french onion soup".

I lived in Paris for a year and never found a bowl of french onion soup as good as Le Papillon
