They have really delicious food. Everything is great- hot chocolate with different percentages of chocolate, the cookies, the entrees. While I was waiting for them to give me my curry, I didn't realize they were going to serve it to me on a large platter like a restaurant. A bit expensive. They even have macarons.

I just love everything about Le Gourmand. Hard to find a good croissant in Toronto but this spot doesn't disappoint. And they're chocolate chip cookies are really spetacular - delcious and has the weight of a meal!

The coffee is great and the cookies are enormous (pictured). They also make really good sandwiches and salads (Carpaccio on Organic Greens? Yes!). But I think the soul of La Gourmand is the ten-foot wall of epicurean goods for sale (jams, cheeses, chocolates, breads + more). It's reassuring that you're getting good stuff on both sides of the counter.

Because there's nothing like enjoying a premium cup of coffee/tea/latte in the Historic Distillery District. Don't let the closed dark painted metal door fool you - the coffee shop is open!! The organic coffee is great here, and is a great drink to sip on while you explore the different shops in the distillery district!!

A local secret gem for pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. Often packed by the locals who live near by b/c its so good. Why so good? - It's a cafe serving high quality imported coffees, teas, pastries and gourmet sandwiches with fresh homemade bread. The sandwiches are only about 5 dollars and are huge - a hard find in the downtown area!! The atmosphere/setting is also nice - makes you feel like you're having a great cup of coffee/latte/tea & pastries in the comforts of your own living roo

Because it's a cosy, comfortable cafe that has a great menu, from sandwiches to pastas, to salmon salads, and has a good brunch menu. - each dish is a classic but made with a distinct twist slightly unique to this place. - which exemplifies the reason to go to such places to dine, as oppose to big chain places. Menu is Italian influenced. Last note - If you're looking for a quite place to sit with your group of friends, their 2nd floor is perfect.

The coffe is fabulous, the owner and staff are the best and the environment is relaxed - yet has a significant spark.

it's great if you're in the mood for a cappuccino and panino, and the patio is tucked away along a side street, so it's a great spot to get some shade and chill.

This tiny spot has been on Queen Street for eons and has earned all it's stripes. Great place for a cozy meal and the food is delicious. The menu is quite diverse and would please any patron.
