At the sake of quoting Captain Beat-a-dead-horse, WOULD YA LOOK AT THOSE FOOD PRICES?! If being a consumer of organic/health food is old news to you, you're probably used to paying the premium for comestibles, but maybe the recent food price spike is hitting you extra hard. So far, this is the most reasonable place I've found to shop for your health food basics. It also has a good selection of natural cleaning products, so you can have a clean toilet, AND a clean environmental conscience! WINK!

These bulk food stores are great for filling your pantry with baking essentials and also your favorite health foods. A great place to get high quality chocolate, organic cereals and other gourmet items at great prices.

Price-wise it is more convenient than Bulk Barn. BB has more selection. I give SB thumbs up for the price and organic selections!

they practically double as a health-food store, and can easily meet all of your non-produce grocery needs. Reasonable prices, and a seemingly never-ending "special price" on raw cashews and almonds. These guys have made cheap vegetarianism easy.

Think of any natural cleaners, cereals and bulk foods you can find at Loblaws or commercial supermarkets and then knock at least three dollars off of the price for each. It's cheap.
