Best Hot chocolate Ive ever had. So thick and rich.

I have two favourite hot chocolate places. This one is like a liquid chocolate shot. It's called Mayan Hot Chocolate and it's kind of expensive for a little cup but it's worth it. It's pure chocolate, very spicy and hot. Once you taste this, you will probably revisit the event while you're daydreaming in lecture or wherever you are.

Is this the only place to get that insanely rich hot chocolate in the city? I have to admit to a bit of an addiction. Plus, it's like a little laboratory and they'll answer whatever questions you have about chocolatemaking if they aren't too busy.

The aroma is bewitching as soon as you enter, and it impossible to not be tempted by the treats (mmm chocolate and lemon rind). Chocolate is serious business here -- baskets are used to handle the wares to prevent meltage. You can view the chocolate lab through large glass windows at the back, and they have wonderful gelato.

There are moments in life when everything just stops. That's what happens when I sip Soma's Aztec hot chocolate. It's makes things stop. And stopping is good from time to time, methinks.

it's super rich and just a little bit spicy.

This shop makes everything on-site and you can see the whole process through glass windows. Amazing truffles and packaged chocolate (milk and dark), chocolate-covered nuts, handmade toffee and gelato. I challenge anyone to visit this shop and NOT buy anything.

they have something called a Mayan Hot Chocolate Shot, which is an intensely-flavoured shot of warm, melted chocolate in a small glass with a tiny handle. Very strong - I could almost feel the chocolate coursing through my veins.

Freshly churned gelato is made in their chocolate lab and is the perfect summer treat. With flavours like fresh mango, madagascar vanilla and my personal favourite dark Venezuelan chocolate how can you go wrong?

WOW - all i have to say is WOW, unreal chocolate and pretty cool place ( u can watch teh chocolate being made! )

the home-churned gelato is made with really quality ingredients and comes in really intense and fresh flavours like Madagascar vanilla and Venezuelan chocolate. Every little spoonful leaves me temporarily unavailable for any other sensory experience.

the mayan blend of intense, rich chocolate, chilis, ginger and vanilla is heaven in liquid form.
