Favourite things at Pickle Barrel Restaurant & Catering

This bruschetta has fantastic presentation and is delcious when made perfectly. I hope all locations serve this - we enjoy it @ Dundas/Yonge in the Atrium.

It's yummy and reminds me of a soup my grandma used to make. I do wish, however, they'd make it with a sugar substitute because I can taste the sugar in it and I'm trying to aviod sugar these days.

Reasonably priced. Amazing food. Lovely atmosphere. It's a great place for drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert. Highly reccommend the mashed potatoes.

Their soup has that old world sweet & sour flavor. It is definitely a comfort food and leaves you feeling sated. To me, it's the best thing on their menu after the cole slaw.

Crispy, filling, piping hot. Great filler for the tummy after a night on the town.

The sauce is so creamy and flavourful, the seafood is fresh, the pasta's always cooked just right and the wine selection is really decent. The atmosphere is really relaxing at the Yonge/Eglinton location and it's a good pre or post-movie place to eat. The Yonge/Dundas location is kind of cramped up top but the lower level is nice and I love the seating.

I love the Pickle Barrel. You can show up in jeans and runners but still sit down with some mood lighting, relax and have a decent meal. Not exactly a romantic hotspot, but not the worst place for a date either. A good place to go with friends or family, and lots of variety on the menu. Good prices and huge portions, nice drinks, fantastic desserts. If you're going to a big chain restaurant, this is the one to go to.

the plumb dressing is really good and it is quite filling.

if you order the roast beef hot and medium (not lean) it melts in your mouth. Awesome.

a big box, made fresh for only $20. You get egg, tuna, salmon, cream cheese and various double-deckers. Always popular for kids parties and lunches.
