Midnight Madness

This year boasts premieres from Takashi Miike, George A. Romero, Dario Argento, and Stuart Gordon. Google them, you wingnut. (PS I dont know who took that pic. I stole it from the CBC site...but I did, however line up for 15 hours to see Borat. So I think I've earned it.)

TIFF's edgiest programme - Midnight Madness, is a collection of weird, wonderful films from directors who, according to the TIFF website, "prefer to work in genres not usually seen in a festival context". I'm all for collapsing hierarchies between A & B movies, classics & cult classics. Colin Geddes, who programs Midnight Madness, always does it right.
