Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar

i literally made a point of going out one night just to have the potato fries at jamie kennedy. they are perfection. not only do they come in fabulously large portions, they are divine when paired with the lemon dill mayo and a glass of pinot noir and live jazz.

Excellent small amounts of delicious gourmet food at reasonable prices per dish (so you can try everything) - and an excellent wine pairing chosen for each dish. Heavily recommend the gourmet poutine (sweet potato, lamb gravy and parmesian cheese) and also the incredible cheese plate.

they are lovely and tasty and perfectly salted. And they come in a cone!

although it's busy, you can snuggle up with your girl at the wine bar and the rest of the place fades away into the background. A couple of other things - Food is great, service superb & wine selection is outstanding.

Everything is amazing. I love the poutine, even if it's not real poutine (no curds?!!). The cheese plate is always at the perfect temperature. The wine list is extensive, and you can get at least twenty wines by the three ounce glass; imagine the variety. The coffee is also very tasty. It's from Balzac, but it just doesn't taste as good at home.

it's a great place to meet after work....i love trying new wines and my favorite thing to do here is to ask the bartender to make recommendation! Pair them up with tapas and this makes for a really fun night out.

they take it to a new level. did i just say that about poutine? they change up the toppings regularly. Try the lamb/red wine/jus combo.
