Favourite things at Green Mango

Back in the day, the Mango was a hole in the wall on Yonge St near the Brass Rail, serving $5 noodle combos and coconut soups. It was tiny and cramped, with a line of hungry customers stretching out the door. Now there are several locations, including a posh sit-down place across the road from the original (which is still open). Green curry vegetables and basil chicken are personal faves. True story: I once flew a take-out container of their food to Vancouver for my cousin.

Fantastic food and great prices

Hot and delicious, and none of that cursed heat-rating on the menu (i.e. "1 to 5 flames"). The Real Deal. The pad thai is awesome - a no-brainer - although the cashew chicken and curry beef are also killer. The Yonge St. locations have been holding it down longer than most of the other thai places that have been popping up. Go and see why!

What can I say other than I just love it!

It is the best tasting of all the Thai restaurants I have been to.

it's a super-spicy, extremely tasty vegan dish with mixed vegetables(including bamboo shoots) that will make you forget you ever wanted meat in the first place...

Almost as good as Thai Princess, and more buffet style rather than sit-down.
