I've lived in the neighbourhood since 1986, and have never missed this festival. It's a testament to the warmth, charm and garage sale genius of my rather perfect area.
My best garage sale purchase to date - well, there are two. One was a set of mexican hurricane lamps from 1900. The other was the entire set of Beatrix Potter books - for $2. Are you mad? Entire set!
